To look after your tattoo please do the following:

~Leave the bandage on over night.
~In the morning, take off the bandage and give your new tattoo a super amazing wash with mild soap and your hands. This means about five times, or until the slimey ointment has been completely washed off. Wash it the same way that night.
~After the wash day, leave your tattoo alone and as dry as possible for four days.
~After the dry days then begin to moisturize two to three times a day with a plain water based moisturizing lotion.
~Moisturize your tattoo until it is no longer dry.

Also remember:

No soaking the tattoo for two weeks, i.e. swimming, baths, saunas, hot tubs, etc.
No sun tanning for two weeks.
After those sun free two weeks, always apply sun block to your tattoo when you do go in the sun.
