I find the experience to be meaningful, getting tattooed by India. I think she does a really excellent job of holding space. She has been able to set a foundation for how to breathe through the process. I think that there is a certain alchemy that's happening when you are getting tattooed, whether it's for a reason or not. You are changing something about yourself forever. And it changes the way that you see yourself, so I think that it's really important that the ritual is rooted in something meaningful, which is really what India brings to the table.
